I am looking for info for the Wallwork and Connett family.Please does anyone remember my granparents who lived in pendlebury Robert Wallwork who died in his thirtys and his widow Elisabeth Frances whos maiden name was Connett she had a brother John Henry Connett.She married again so she became Floyd.They had two boys Thomas and Roy Wallwork.Robert Wallwork worked at Wheatsheaf colliery.His sister was Nellie who became Nellie Brown.Elisabeth Francis wallwork died 6th sept 1965.There buried at St Augustus church.Thanks

My great grandfather was John Wallwork, born Pendlebury 1848.His father James kept coach & horses at Pendlebury his mother was Hannah. He married Mary Mowbray in Co. Durham and emmigrated to Australia in 1883.Any connections?

At one time he was elected Secretary to the Lancashire & Cheshire Miners Federation, I think about the early 1930s. He was born in 1875 & died in 1945 aged 69.
