Searching for relatives of Harry Robinson Waldron and Josephine Barnett, married 31.10.1889 at Salford Registry Office. Harry died 1912 and Josephine migrated to Australia with their four younger children in 1913. Eldest child, Leonard, remained in England and married Georgina Sangster in 1917. He was killed in action in France on 9.4.1918. Any information on this family greatly appreciated. I am a daughter of the youngest child, Leslie Benson Waldron, born 1899 in Liverpool died 1974 in Melbourne, Australia.

Jane Selby died in 1891 and is buried in Manly Cemetery, Sydney, Australia. Looking for shipping papers or confirmation of her date of emigration to Australia. She married William MILDWATER (MILDWORTERS) on 16 Jul 1840 at Scots Presbyterian Church, Sydney. William and Jane are noted as early pioneers in the Manly district of Sydney, NSW. They had 11 chldren. So far I have found nothing about her UK background, except that on the headstone in Manly Cemetery her part is inscribed "Jane, Native of Liverpool, England, aged 70 years". (It does not say Lancashire). Any help will be much appreciated.

I am looking for any info on a David Levingston/Livingstone, born abt/1798 and wife Sarah born abt/1800. David was possibly born in Armagh, County Tyrone, Ireland and moved to Liverpool abt. 1830/31. My great great grandfather THOMAS O'SHAUGHNESSY (b.1831) married ANN DAVIS (b1836) abt 1858 - I think in Ireland where they were both born. They had at least five ch. The oldest (JOHN THOMAS b.1862) was born in Bengal, India where his father was probably a soldier in the Indian Mutiny. By 1864 they were in Walton, Liverpool where their second son, MICHAEL was born. Their third ch. was GEORGE, my great grandfather b. Walton 1867. CHARLES and MARY FRANCES are the last two ch. I have found. GEORGE married ANNIE O'CONNELL (b1867 Ireland) in 1888 at St.Joseph's Blundellsands. Her father was JOHN O'CONNELL b.1845 prob. Ireland and he was a blacksmith living at Orrell Park, Aintree - no idea who his wife was. ANNIE and GEORGE had five ch. the middle one being MARY MONICA O'SHAUGHNESSY, b.1895 Waterloo who married WILLIAM THOMAS GREEN b. 1888 Northants - these are my grandparents. Any info appreciated. WSR was my g/grandfather. Probably born in Liverpool in 1846 (although census entries always show Irlam). His mother was almost certainly Ellen Simner who was unmarried. She married George Royle from Manchester in Liverpool in 1852. William is not to be found in the 1851 census, or with his apparent parents in 1861. He marries Mary Ann Goddard in Liverpool in 1868 and is a hotel porter in the 1871, 1881, and 1891 census. Then I lose him. His son, also Wm Sumner Royle was brought up by an aunt in South Wales from about 1880. Mary Ann died in a mental hospital back in Gloucester in 1886. Anyone come across them?

i am looking for information on George Joseph Games (dob approx 1877) who married Martha Ann Byers in liverpool 1904; i can find no record of him previous to the 1901 census where he lived with martha and their two sons francis william and george joseph. she went onto have another son William Byers (my grandfather) in the workhouse - she listed his father as george joseph (deceased) - but i cant ind any records of him of George jnr!

l am researching my Logan side from Liverpool 1841 census Daniel Logan. age 50 Head. Labourer.lreland. Annie age 50 Wife lreland. John age 15 son Liverpool. Daniel age 13 son Liverpool. Anne age 40 sister. lreland. ln a later census Daniel & annie's age drops by 10 years. Bernard c1801 lreland. brother to Daniel is also with them. As is a daughter Catherine c1826 Liverpool. who married John Finn. Daniel jnr marries Sarah Moseley and they have a son Daniel born 1852 Liverpool. Mariner. who marries Rebecca Tipping. Their children Daniel. Elizabeth. John. Maria. Georgina. Frances. Georgina was in the Liverpool Seamans Orphanage on the 1901 census as her father Daniel had died in 1897.Last known ship was the Athenia. John married Mary Catherine Maguire. Children Peter. Francis. Mary F. Michael. John. There maybe others but that is all l have. lf anyone thinks they maybe related please contact as l have a lot of data to share.

My g.g.grandfather, John Hand (1776-1865) was a prosperous shopkeeper who lived all his life in Liverpool. A cabinet maker by trade he ended up running a shop in Bold Street. In 1801 he married Frances Duckworth and they went on to have 9 children, including my g.grandfather, Frederick. Two of John's sons, Stephen and Charles, became rich men (Charles left £50,000 when he died in 1890). Frederick married twice, and my grandmother, Ellen Hand, was the child of his second wife, Alice Brookfield. Ellen's siblings were, George Frederick, Frances (married name Collard), Sarah (married name Mcdade), and Alexander (Alec). Ellen married my grandfather, Albert Lloyd Pickering in 1898 and they had 3 daughters, Doris (married name Henry), Madeline (my mother), and Lilian (married name Plunkett). Does anyone know anything about this family?

I am interested in finding more about John PHILLIPS b 1816 who married Elizabeth NUTTALL b 1817, in 1838. John was a labourer/plasterer and they have 3 daughters on the 1851 census Margaret b 1839, Ann b 1842 & Jane b 1845. Margaret went to live in Dartford Kent and married a Thomas SKINNER but I would love to know what happened to the rest of the family.

I have found my William Standish (b c1811) in Liverpool in the 1851 census with his wife Elizabeth (c1809). Both state they were born in Wigan. Their children are Thomas (c1834) and Catharine (c1839), both born in Salford. I cannot find the family in any other census. Would love to find out more about them.

I'm researching the Hesketh family found in the Binns Road area of West Derby 1825-1901. James Hesketh b 1826 was a ropemaker. I am particularly interested in the children of Sarah Ann Hesketh (b 1872) & Joseph McNamara (b 1872) born between 1900 & 1914 who went in to a CHildren's Home after their mother's death in 1916.
