red mail Edward Roberts
In 1927, my gtgrandmother Isabella Davis married Edward Roberts. She had been married and widowed before and was aged 47. She came originally from Oswestry (born Isabella Davies) but had been married to Alfred Davis and had a married daughter Lucy Webber living in Swindon. On the marriage certificate it says they were married at Manchester South Register Office. Ed Roberts was the son of Thomas Roberts, an engineer. Edward was a Gents and Ladies Outfitter living in Stockport Rd. Levenshume and aged 70 at the time of the wedding. Do you have any information on him as he had been married before but I'm not sure if there were and children of that first marriage. Can anyone recognize the name?

red mail Looking for Gladys Hamiltons family
Hi ya I am looking for anyone related to GLADYS HAMILTON b 1907 in Levenshulme, in 1928 she married CYRIL CHAPAMN in Salford. From what my dad remembers Gladys had a few brothers and sisters, he thinks Gladys was the youngest there was a brother Sidney and a sister Florrie b April 1891, also Carrie and Frank, but he is sure there are others. Galdys`s dad was Johnathon Hamilton born in Manchester, but going back from him the Hamilton`s are from Scotland ( not sure if they are from Hamilton itself yet tho). In the 1901 census Johnathon is married to Martha. Any help on any relatives to Gladys would be great, sadly Gladys died in 1958, her first son died in 1965, her 2nd, Ray my dad is still thriving but would love to hear of any living relatives to Gladys brothers and sisters and any info on the Hamilton family tree. Many thanx Liza x
