David Murray and Edward Kelly were step brothers . Dave Murray b1907 went to USA . They met up again briefly around 1950 when Dave was serving at Burtonwood American Base in Warrington. Any information about either family would be welcome thanks.
ELEANOR (ELLEN) JOSEPHINE NOLAN died on 13th October 1955 aged 71. She was baptised a Roman Catholic but not buried in Ford Cemetery and I wonder whether anyone can discover her final resting place for me. She was the wife of Thomas Nolan, who at one time or another was a tobacco worker and general labourer. At the time of her death they were living at 49a Walton Lane, Kirkdale and had lived in the area for many years.

Looking for any information on my paternal grandmother Elsie Davies, nee Gibson, b1901. A copy of her marriage certificate states that she was living at 40 Rosalind Street, Kirkdale in 1921. Hi, I'm trying to trace any relatives of Daniel Hornby Bolton born in Kirkdale, Liverpool around 1888. His father was Richard Bolton who ran a pub I think, and he had a sister Harriet. Richard's wife was Harriet Jones from Fitz in Shropshire, sadly she died young in 1891. Her sister, Martha married Arthur Hornby, also from Kirkdale, hence Daniel's middle name. Richard was listed as a Merchant as was his father whose name was either James Rowlandson Robinson or Thomas Rowlandson Robinson. Margaret and Richard moved to Sydney Australia where they had 3 children before moving back to England and had another child. Their daughter Margaret married Dr Robert Walker.

His death certificate says Wellhill Cemetery, Perth. He had 10 children. Those who may have lived in Kirkdale or Garston area are: William, Robert, Mary Mailer Lord, Janet Thomson Mailer, Alexander(Sandy), and Peter. Looking for information on my Gt.Grandfather James Cowley b.1826 (approx.) who may have originated from the I.O.Man. He married Catherine Thomas b.1825 (approx.) at St Mary the Virgin, West Derby on 18.12.1847. They are listed on the 1881 Census asliving at 3 Halewood Road, Much Woolton with their three children including my Grandfather John Alfred Cowley. He married Agnes Ellen Jones (b.1866) of Llandegla, Denbigh at St Stephen's, Gateacre in 1895. They had one child, my mother, Agnes Irene who married my father Joseph Leonard Crompton of Widnes in 1925 at Kirkdale. There were three sons from this union John, Leonard and (me)Geoff. I married Lois Winifred Jones in 1956 at Mossley Hill Parish Church. We have one daughter Gillian Kay who married Grant Phillip Stanning in 1988 at Hartford, Northwich. They have one son Thomas born in January 2000. If anyone can connect in any way please get in touch.
