red mail James Haworth
I am looking for a james Haworth that was born in hapton in 1848. He married a lady called Ellen and went on to have a number of children - Amelia, Emma, Frank, George, James, John Robert, and Polly. These children were born in a number of different area's but in 1883 onwards it seemed the family settled in Accrington. James was a labourer at an Iron Works in Accrington in the 1890's. He appears in the 1891 census but then dissapears in the 1901 census - perhaps died. If anyone can help with further clues I'd be very grateful.

Hapton Hall was situated on the outskirts of the village of Hapton, near Hapton Castle. The Lee family are known to have lived there sometime in the 18th/19th centuries. I would appreciate any information about Hapton Hall and/or the Lee family.
