red mail SAMUEL WILD b 1865 Darwen, HANNAH WILD (nee Boardman) b 1869 Manchester
Hi I am researching Samuel Wild b 1865 in Darwen, Lancashire and his wife, Hannah Wild, nee Boardman b 1869 in Manchester. I am wondering if anyone has them in their family tree as I am trying to find out where their first son, also named Samuel, b 1890, died. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts USA and I think he died as a small child, but as the family travelled back and forth between Darwen and the USA, it could be in either place. Samuel's wife, Hannah Wild b 1869, had two sisters, Harriet Boardman b 1875 and Mary Alice Boardman b 1878 (both in Manchester). When one of the sisters died, one of the two remaining sisters married the recently bereaved husband, but I have not been able to find out which one. Would be grateful if anyone has any information, thank you.

One day just as it was closing I came across some electoral rolls and had a quick look at them. I lived at 49 Hannah Street, Darwen from when I was born in 1944 to when I was married in 1967. I was surprised to see along with my Dad and Mum's names .... Samuel Ward and Annie Ward.... a Joan Turner listed.
