Searching for a JAMES WELCH (JIMMY) Born about 1922 - 1925 in Houston, Texas, u.s.a JAMES was a sergeant based at U.S.A.F. Burtonwood near Warrington, Lancashire Tha base was known as U.S.A.A.F. 590 James had two sisters, names not known, one sister moved to Florida 1945-1950 Any information about JAMES WELCH or his sisters and any other family members would be very helpful in my interest in U.S personnel who may have been stationed at Burtonwood. Other family members were Stanley, Samuel,Jane,Mary, John and Clara. My Grandfather Henry married my Grandmother Margaret nee Tinsley/Tinley and ran a window cleaning business in Wigan. Searching for information on Thomas McCarthy born Ireland married Catherine Mallett from Prescot.They lived at Lumbar Lane and then Joy Lane Cottage.Children were Winifred(she married Richard Grace)Charles,Mary(emigrated to Canada,don't know when)Thomas,Annie(my grandmother she married William Mansell)and Beatrice was the youngest. I have found out that Beatrice had twins in 1919 but they died shortly after birth and are buried in Warrington Cemetery,it would seem that Beatrice was unmarried atthe time. Any information about schools attended,christenings or anything at all would be greatly appreciated.
