I am trying to find out where my Gr.Grandfather may be buried. He was born in 1862 in County Galway, Ireland. He came over to Manchester approx. 1882, married Sarah Mills from Bilston, Staffs, in 1888, had my grandfather Benjamin in 1889, my Gr.Grandfather died in 1891, according to his death certificate his address was something like 1 Piran Court, Ardwick, possibly in hospital. His son (my grandfather) went back to Ireland to live with his grandmother, I can't find any trace of what happened to his wife (my Gr.Grandmother). Can anyone help?

Looking for any info on these three ladies.They were Ethel Scott born in 1894, Bessie Scott born in 1896, Annie Scott born 1899 in Ardwick Manchester. Their Mom was Mary Lewis born in 1870 in Ardwick Manchester and their Dad was Walter Scott (I don't know Walter's date of birth). Bessie was my grandmother and she immigrated to Canada in about 1914-1915, she died in 1931, so I don't have much info on this side of they family. Thank You Janice

Timothy Connor 30 w/ wife Mary 30, kids; John 15, Hugh 15, Timothy 12, Thomas 10, James 6 and Mary 1 are listed on the 1841 census of Dukinfield. I think Timothy Jr is the Tim who married Jane Crawford and came to US about 1848. In 1881 their son John married Roseanne Flaherty in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Roseanne was born Sept 28 1860 at 5 Ancoats St, Ardwick, Manchester. Can anyone give me any help on these folks?

My Great Grangad Lawrence died in 1898 the same year that his son (my Grandad) Albert was born. Albert never knew his Father so this meant Lawrence died before October of 1898. Lawrence was married to Annie(nee Taylor) My Mum seems to think that the family came from Ardwick, so I wondered if any decendants from Lawrence could be out there, maybe he had brothers or sisters, we would love to find out more as our knowledge is very sketchy.
