red mail John Bulloch
John is my great uncle. He fought in WW1 and won the DCM. I am told that he owned a dairy in Rutherglen in the 1930's but he died in 1946, possibly through complications associated with being gassed in WW1. Does anyone have any information relating to John?

Looking for a connection between James Robertson (born 1756 Rutherglen Lanarkshire died 28 Jan 1828 Lanarkshire) who married Janet Wilson 28 Sept 1775 in Glasgow; and John Robertson (born 1782 Lanarkshire, died 15 May 1862 Lanark Ontario Canada) who married Janet Smith 25 Oct 1807 in Bridgton and immigrated to Canada 1820. Apparently they were distant cousins but have found no solid evidence. Do not know either of their parents.

My Gt Grandparents William Taylor Bennett and Annie Jane Hook married in Bethnal Green London in 1875, moved to Brighton late 1870s, then to Glasgow in 1880s. William was a Gold Beater. The family lived in Harriet St, and Wolseley St. Their children were Annie Lucy, John William, Harry, Albert, Charles, Robert & Rose. Interested if anyone connected.

Duncan / Anderson
my Gt x 2 Grandparents were both born in Rutherglen. They were Robert Duncan (b.1822 - parents unknown)and Jane Anderson (b.1823 - parent John Anderson and Elizabeth Forest, I think) Their children were jane, William, margaret, John, Andrew, Catherine (or Christina) and Robert. The men were coal miners in either the Stonelaw Pit or Old Farme pit. My Gt grandfather Andrew Duncan broke his back in a pit accident around 1892 and I would like to know of more details of the accident. They all lived in the area of Stonelaw St., Old Farme Row, Greenhill Rd, and then later in Farme Loan RdI would love to make contact with anyone who has links with the family.
