both born near cleish. lived in Edinburgh but banns read in Cleish. in 1841 cencus then both vanish. Hannah reappears with extensive family towards end of 19th C but no James. Any info gratefully recd as usual leads have all come to nothing.

Murie Family - including Agnes Murie - (Crook of Devon - Kinross-shire)
Seeking information on the Murie family which lived in or near Crook of Devon from the mid-1600's until about 1800. Agnes Murie, from Kilduff, was one of the women convicted of witchcraft in the 1640's, and James Murie lived at Gooselands in Crook of Devon and later at Kingseat, Cleish, when he married Helen Howison from the nearby home of Craigencat. Not sure if they are related, but the name is not a common one in the village.

There are several William Coventrys born in and near Kinross so I am not sure which line is mine .Are there others researching Coventry familes that I can exchange information with .
