red mail Marriage of Joseph Lutt
I am trying to find out details of my great grandfather Joseph Lutt. He married a Bridget Elizabeth Casey at the Curragh sometime around 1897 I think. Does anyone have any details regarding this man/woman. They later moved to the UK and lived in Middlesex.
red mail The Melay Family
I am trying to trace Julia Margaret Melay who was at the Curragh some time around 1895-1901. She moved to England to be with the Grenadier Guard boyfriend (Eddy Ernest Wilding)she met at the camp and married him in 1899. I am told that Julia's father worked in some capacity with the horses at the Curragh. Melay doesn't seem to be a very common Irish name despite sounding like it should be. Any assistance would be most welcome.
red mail Annie Gordon Duncan
I am looking for information on my Great Grandmother born at Curragh Camp in approx 1865.
red mail Emily HILL born Curragh Camp 1879
I have found an entry on another site that is a possible ancestor. EMILY HILL born 23/12/1879, CURRAGH CAMP, KILDARE, IRELAND. This is my first potential Irish relative and I am unfamiliar with Irish records, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction to be able to get a copy of this birth entry or to find out what regiments were at Curragh at this time. thanks.
red mail Patrick Burke
Tracing ancestors of Patrick Burke who married Bridget Burns C.1946, either at the Curragh or Kildare Town
Reagan or Regan
I am trying to find details about a man whose surname was either Reagan or Regan who lived and worked in Kildare, perhaps at the jockey hospital in the Curragh area about 1921. His ancestors may or may not be aware that he had a son out of wedlock (James Christopher Maguire who became known as James Christopher Hannon)with Mary Maguire from the Newbridge, Kildare area in 1922 before he was forced to leave area and Mary. I have no idea where he eventually settled or whether he ever married and had further children. Mary Maguire was my grandmother and I would love to discover the true ancestory of my Father. If you could help in any way or if we can provide any other family information please get in touch. Many thanks, Tony
