Any info please on James Bradley, born around 1783 and a resident of Wittersham. I believe he married Sarah and I have traced 4 children: Charlotte, George, Sarah & Mercy. James was resident in the Tenterden Workhouse around 1851 but by 1861 he lived with Mercy and her husband John Parsons back in Wittersham. Meanwhile Charlotte had 2 children, both illegitimate, in the Tenterden Workhouse: Sarah (1847) and my 2xg grandfather Charles frederick (1849). Sarah went on to marry Jerimiah Murphy who was in the British Army, they had 3 mre chidren and ended up living in Guernsey. Any info very gratefully recieved especially regarding James and Sarah. Thanks.

My Grandfather, ALFRED CECIL TERRY was born May, 1873, in Wittersham, the son of DR JOSEPH GARSIDE TERRY and ELIZABETH JEMIMA WEBB. In 1901 Alfred married DAISY CHAPMAN HAYWARD (b. in Frittenden in 1880) and together they emigrated to the US in 1902. I can provide much information on TERRYs, but would enjoy learning more on them. I would like more information on any related HAYWARDs or SKINNERs. I have some photos of these relatives, but would very much like more.

My G-G-Grandfather, JOHN JENKIN (JENKYN) TERRY, was born in Lydd in 1806, and was a Doctor and Surgeon in Wittersham from about 1845 to 1885. He had several wives, including my G-G-Grandmother, MARY ANN GARSIDE, and a previous wife, SARAH WALKER. I have lots of information and photos of him, which I am generally willing to share with family.
