red mail Hewett/Hewitt family
I am researching my family tree and have not been able to trace my paternal great-grandmother's family. My great-grandmother Annie Hewett, born 1853 in Kent, left London on the ship "Hydaspes" on 10 August 1874 & arrived in New Zealand on 5 November 1874. She married George Atkins in 1878. Annie visited England in 1914 leaving Wellington, New Zealand on the ship "Turakina" & arrived in London on 9 September 1914. Annie would have visited & stayed with relatives as Annie had three sisters and maybe brothers as well. Any info on Annie's sisters or brothers would be gratefully received.
