red mail Kimble
My grandmother; Eva Jane(born 20.09.1872)... married my grandfather Alfred Kimble(born 14.02.1869) in Chobham on 14th Nov.1900. I assume Eva Jane (Surname unknown)came from around Chobham. They later moved to Hove, where Alfred became a coachman; they were both probably in service in Hove, Sussex. Addresses I have in Hove include Byron Street and Orchard Avenue, Hove 4. Was this a retiremant address? Offspring include Jack a brother who died young, my father Eric Robert Henry, his sisters Mildred (called Bobby) and Kathleen or Kathrene(Kay) Both stayed in the Brighton/Hove/Portslade area but I do not have their married names. Another name connected to the family is Mr Goldthorpe. Does anyone have more details either in Chobham or in Hove, Sussex.
