William Ernest Chambers
I'm looking for the descendants of my great uncle, William Ernest Chambers (1878-?). He was a senior partner in Brading and Green, a printers and stationers in Deptford High Street, and was a member of a minstrel troupe. He and his wife, Marie Minna Lees, lived in Manor Aveunue, Brockley and they had five children - Gordon, Denis, Brian, Shirley Patricia and June - some of whom emigrated to the USA. William was ex-president of the master printers' federation and the first to win the Mason Hooper cup awarded by the London Master Printers. Can anyone help?

I am looking for relatives of Thomas & Bridget (Minnie) Mathews who lived at Foxwell St Brockley during WWII. They were both killed plus one son and youngest daughter on 5 Oct 1940 as a result of bombing. They left two sons and a daughter - Thomas, Richard and Margaret. Thomas married Nellie Johnson, Richard married Lily Trivett & Margaret married Dominic Rossi. Charles the son who died was married to Daisy Guichard. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for information on Caroline Amelia Whitton b 1885 daughter of Henry Whitton and Hannah Flatman.I have a copy of her birth certificate which has a note showing that Whitton should be read as Whitting since her father was using this surname at the time of his marriage to Hannah.. This amendment was made in 1949 after Caroline's death by a statutory declaration to the superintendent registrar.Deeply puzzled why this was done so long after the event by two people Jessie Brewin and George Charles West who seem to be unknown to any of the family.
