i have traced my family back to 1781 in standon. does anyone researching their family trees marry into them. my main problem is they seem to have been called cramphorn prior to arround 1750ish. any imformation would be very helpful
John Pratt of Standon
Can anyone help me with John Pratt. Born about 1786 Standon Herts. He was a gardener. He married Ann ?? (could be Ann Turner or Stevens, but no proof as yet). Im interested in confirming her maiden name. Children were Ann born 1814 (married George William Edward Gifford), Charles William born 1810, (married Sarah Rogers) also Eliza (married William John Freshwater), Mary or Mary Ann (married William Robinson), John (married Mary Moore), Emma (married James Charles Kendall), Sarah (married William Brighton) and Jane who never married.
