red mail Muncer family
I'm having difficulty putting together a tree for the Muncer family. I believe that Joseph Muncer b c 1837 Hatfield was the son of Thomas Muncer who I estimate to have been born c 1800. I can find no record of Thomas Muncer in the 1841 census or thereafter and he is known to have been dec'd when Joseph married Ann Steel in 1860. In the 1841 census I've found a Joseph Muncer aged 6 living in Sacombe, Watton, Hertford with a brother Thomas and a couple listed by the ennumerator as his parents. The couple were William Muncer aged 70 and Rodey Muncer aged 72 both born in Herts. I believe this couple may well be the parents of Thomas b c 1800 and the grandparents of Joseph and Thomas. I'm keen to find out if anyone can access parish records to see if William and Rodey had children and if so whether one of them was called Thomas. In turn I'd like to know who Thomas married , the children they had and whether he and his wife died pre 1941. I have also found a John Muncer b 1811 in Bishops Hatfield who could be a possible contender for brother of Thomas b c 1800. Muncer seems to be a name which is largely confined to the Hertford area in the 1840's and 50's before stretching out into London and it would be interesting to know where the name originates from. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Many thanks.

red mail Descendants
Would very much like to communicate with anyone who may be a descendant of Jesse Wilsher b:1849 Hatfield Hertfordshire. He married Selina Tanner b; 1852 Chelsea London. They married in St Judes church, Chelsea in 1872. By 1873, they were living in Shanbally Co. Tipperary Ireland, and were there ror a good ten years. There, they had seven children - one of which died at/or soon after birth. The others were Edith Alice, Alice Eveline, Elizabeth Gertrude,Alfred, Lucy ( Castilla/Cordella) and Jesse - who was my great grandfather. They were recorded in the 1891 census, living in a cottage in Farm rd Edmonton, with additional children, John, Ernest,William and Charles. Is there anyone out there who may be related to any of them, and/or who has any information about them, particularly why they went to Ireland. Looking forward to any positive response. Debbie
