red mail Curran family from Yarpole
On the 1st August 1865 John Curran of Cockgate married Anne Wall of Bircher. The Curran family seem to have come from Stanton Lacy and John Curran's father is listed as another John Curran. Anne Wall's father is listed as James Wall, a schoolmaster. It is James Wall I am interested in as I cannot find a link in "ancestry" between James Wall and Anne in any census. I am sure that there cannot have been too many James Wall's that were schoolmasters and I have found one living and teaching in Titley and Almeley. He does not seem to have a daughter Anne though. I should be grateful to hear from anyone who knows about James Wall a schoolmaster.
red mail Benjamin Turner b1810 Yarpole
I am looking for any information regarding Benjamin Turner who was born c1810 in Yarpole according to the 1851 census. He was in West Bromwich by then. If anyone has access to any baptism records for Yarpole and can find any details, I would be very grateful Regards Tom
red mail George George father of Mary George
I'm searching for ancestors of my GGGrandmother, Mary George, who married Henry Edwards Mar 28, 1844,at the parish chuch in Yarpole. The marriage certificate, which I have, shows her father as George George, a Farmer. The certifcate was witnessed by the groom's father, and by Ann George, who may be Mary's sister or her mother.
red mail Elilzabeth Timbrell
Elizabeth Timbrell was born in Yarpole abt 1807 and married William Dyke baker of Charlton Kings in 1826. I would like to find out more about her family. There are many Timbrells in the Cheltenham area so I am wondering if her mother (unknown) was from Herefordshire rather than her father.
red mail Goodman Family

red mail Powles-Elizabeth, Yarpole
I have an original document: '1811 Nov 10th Elizabeth daughter of Henry and Sarah Poles was babtised. I The rev. Joseph Edwards vicar of Yarpole in the county and diocese of Hereford Hereby certify ect.... this 2nd day of September 1875'. Elizabeth married Thomas Miller in Sept. 1842 Ludlow. I wondered why the babtism certificate would need to be renewed at this time. She was still alive in 1881. She was a laundress in Corve Street.
red mail Family links
Seeking info on the Heapy family of Yarpole ,the name doesn`t seem very common. My grandfather and great grandfather both called James were born in Yarpole. My great grandmother was Emma nee Crump who was also born in Yarpole. Her parents were John Crump and Elizabeth nee Proudman .My grandfather moved to Wales in 1900`s and married my maternal grandmother, who was born in New Radnor, Radnor shire, although she lived in Leominster from the age of 5.Her mother was a Susan Grafton from Humber, Hereford,Father William Overton from Bucknell Shrops.
red mail Smith
I know this is a very very wild shot, but I am trying to find anyone who might be related to my GGrandfather, William Smith who was born in Eye in Herefordshire in 1851, moved to Hope-Under-Dinmore and then died in Yarpole in 1941. (I have a copy ofthe newspaper cutting of his death) His father was a Samuel Smith who was born in Brimfield, Herefordshire in 1818 and mother Sarah Yapp. I believe my GGrandfather was never married to my GGrandmother, (with whom he had 4 children), but he later married a lady called Mary Barber and they had quite a few more children. I would love to hear from anyone who can shed any light on his later family.
