Researching my grandfather William Augustus Breakwell, Wheelwrtght and carpenter of Pembridge, married to Jane Tippins of Pembridge, first lived at the Mill on the green, then in the wheelwrights house on East Street and finally the Alms-houses at the top of Bridge Street. Both died approximately 1950.
Rev. Henry EVANS of St. Margaret's, Westminster, bought Byletts, Pembridge in 1754. The family name was changed to BOWLE-EVANS in 1902.
searching for horace tidman (1885) and family. not sure but maybe related to solomon tidman/thomas tidman. are these tidmans connected with blaenavon in monmouthshire? any clues would be appreciated.

William Scandrett bachelor, married Elizabeth Jackson of the Parish of ST JOHN, ANTIGUA, but resident in Pembridge, widow, 1st September 1825. 4 children, Charlotte (1825), Charles(1827), Elizabeth (1830) and Samuel (1835). Elizabeth died 1838 aged 49, William died 1841 aged 41. Would be very interested to learn of Elizabeth's previous marriage (to ? Jackson) and of her Antiguan history.
