red mail Hadley family, Much Marcle
Information please re: Sarah Hadley and family - Sarah baptised in Much Marcle 18 May 1817. In May 1837 she married George Young (1818-1866) at Whittington, Worcester; hence my interest. George and Sarah had 5 children, one of whom, Richard (1839-1869), is my Great Grandfather. To date (April 2012) I have scant information about Sarah's family and would welcome any help. The 'Youngs' appear to have moved from the Worcestershire area to Warwickshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire and London (leaving a very complex trail!), and have family links with a number of Scottish families. I am willing to share and exchange any information about any of the families we are linked with.

surname: Wadley
any information on family named Wadley. Know they lived in Much Marcle late 1800's and beginning of 1900's. Enoch Wadley was hanged for murder in the 1800's and was living in Much Marcle at that time. My maternal grandmother Louisa Wadley lived there early 1900's, Enoch I believe was a great uncle to her. Family members were christened at the church, may even be buried there, and there could even be some living relatives still there. The Wadleys at the turn of the century were quite abig family.
