red mail Elinor BRADFORD (b 1797)
My 3rd Gt Grandmother Elinor BRADFORD was born in 1797 in Eardisland. I believe she was the 4th child of at least 7 born to Thomas BRADFORD (b 1749 at Canon Pryor) and Elizabeth COLLEY. However Thomas & Elizabeth married at Bromyard on 7 Apr 1774 and the earliest child, Richard, appears to have been born in 1791. Does anyone know if there were earlier children, or even another marriage for Thomas because it is so unusual for a couple to wait 17 years before starting a family, especially in those days.
red mail Caldicotts- The Millers
Interested in contacting anyone interested in Caldicotts from Herefordshire and what was Radnorshire. It seems that they ran most of the corn mills in the region, and almost certainly were adversely affected by the repeal of the Corn Laws. I have a wealth of genealogical research that I'd love to share!

Thomas was a farm bailiff. His second wife was Sarah Price from Hope under Dinmore. I think that she may have died in Bosbury. I would like to confirm this..
