red mail Eliza Davies b1851, Bosbury/Mathon (Ledbury)
Eliza DAVIES b1851 is my 2nd great grandmother. She was born in Bosbury and I believe she lived in a hamlet called Mathon as we have a Sampler she completed at school there. She married John TAYLOR (b 1844) in 1874 in Mathon. Their marriage certificate says her fathers name was George. One of the witnesses was Mary Ann Davies ( possibly her mother or sister) and she also may have had a sister called Rose Annie. Rose Annie married a danish seaman called Karl Henrick PETERSEN and had a son called Olave Charles Petersen who went to live with his aunt (?) Eliza in Guarlford, Malvern. I have come to a dead end and would love to go back another generation and find out about Elizas father George Davies and her mother and siblings. Will be so greatful of any help, however small to help piece together my puzzle!
