red mail The Snook(s) family - (Kimpton - Hampshire)
Desperately searching for the baptism of John Snook who married Ann Glass in abt 1793. John was probably born around 1773. In the 1841 cencus he said he was born in Hants, 1851 that he was born at Shrewton, Wilts. Have tried Shrewton but no luck. Arond the time he married Ann a Henry Snook appeared in Andover, married a local girl, had one child, then they vanished. Johns daughter Mary had a son Henry whose father was Thomas Chandler, they eventually married and had other children. Although Henry used the name of Chandler as a child he reverted back to Snook and eventually married Hannah Hillier, my G-Grandmother. Is it possible that Henry from Andover was Johns brother? Will I ever find out, I have been searching for nearly 15 years, can anyone help, PLEASE!!!
