I am looking for the death date of William Thomas Culver. He was the 2nd son of James and Francis(Fanny)Culver who worked and lived on Hungerford Farm Winchfield early 1900's. The 1911 census shows the family at the farm, with William and his wife Caroline living at Hungerford Cottage Hungerford Farm.Caroline died in 1931. They had a son named William Thomas James born 1907. Last contact the son was living in Basingstoke.

During the 1890's, my grandfather worked as a gardener in the employ of Major General David Maitland. He once told that Gen Maitland had been relieved of his duties as a result of a mutiny by troops under his command. Is anything recorded locally regarding this incident?
