My relatives ran a bakery in Ventnor, granfather Albert Gilbert was part of the business around 1850 before coming to Canada. His father was William and mother was Ann Leah Smith. William married twice more to Elizabeth March and then Elizabeth Dyer. Williams father was RIchard who married Ann Taylor. I am interested in finding out more information regarding this part of my family.

Boeyen Charles Stuart and Christina Mackenzie ran a florist shop in 1860s in Ventnor.Trying to find out more about them. Son Jacob(Jacques) Charles Mackenzie born 1865. They seem to have moved on to Antwerp,Belgium after this- but cannot find trace in 1861 or 1871 censuses.Jacques Stuart married in 1905 and had two children Grace Mary 1906 and Walter in 1908 in Antwerp. Boeyen (born 1832) and Christina originally from Scotland.

Ayliffe Langford was married twice.Second marriage was to Jane.They had several children born in the 1840's in Ventnor just before it became popular - including Ayliffene Isabella Langford. Her baptism I believe was in St Lawrence's. Am interested in any info about them - or about his first family. Ayliffene Isabella was my great-great-grandmother.
