I would greatly appreciate any feedback/info/data re: my gt/gt/grandfather HENRY PARSONS (1818 .- 1886) brn. SHERBOURN ST.JOHN HAMPSHIRE - DEC'D HARTLEY WINTNEY. Married: HARRIETT LEADBEATER (1820 - 1850 brn. BRAMLEY HAMPSHIRE) at ST. JAMES PADDINGTON LONDON 18th Apr 1842. Had 4 children - ELIZABETH JANE - MARY ANNE (1843 TWINS), CATHERINE (1846) - HARRIETT (1848). I have found 2 death documentations for Harriett LEADBEATER (1849) - it could be possible that both mother and daughter Harriett dec'd the same year. My remarried in 1852 (Basingstoke) to DINAH HAM and had 8 further children. So far I have managed to track the PARSONS links but have very little success with the Harriett LEADBEATER connections (eg, her family) other than the name of her father which was John (as shown on the marriage documentation). Any information no matter how small would be very helpful. Many thanks Jenny
Searching BAILEY Family (various spellings). known to be in the Village of Bramley during the late 1700's but I believe, not necessarily born there. Believed to have been settled there as a result of a "removal order" from another parish--i.e. seeking fiancial help from "the parish" of Bramley. Any BAILEY information from the Bramley area welcomed. Thankyou
Bond's of Hants & Sussex
Looking for information on the BOND family of Ellcotts(?)Crossing Lane Bramley.Family consisted of Alfred Bond with wife Sarah Ann and children, Kate, Alice, John, Ethel.M. and Sarah.J. They were in Bramley in 1901 and I believe one of the girls later lived in Odiham. The children were born in many villages,Monk Sherborne,Wooten St Lawrence, Winchfield, Whitchurch, Church Crookham and Oxon Dunsden (which may not be in Hants) I believe Ethel.M. was my grandmother who went to Norwood Newtown and was partner to Charles Bridgeland SMITH. She went on to marry William j Stockwell in 1943 and Frederick C Pay in 1956. They lived in Washington in Sussex. I am wanting to find out if John, Kate, Alice or Sarah.J ever married and what happened to them. If anyone has any info I would love to hear from them.
