we are researching our family history and are interested in the trull family who lived in uley and surrounding villages, we are related via Joseph Tipping Trull and Fanny, the daughter of his relationship with Elizabeth Raby. Joseph was married previously and also had a daughter to that marriage, again called Fanny. Joseph died in leeds in 1868. We would be grateful for any info anyone may have

John LODGE and Mary POWELL married at Uley PC 16th July 1794. They had nine children that I know of, who were baptised here. John was not baptised at Uley. He was a nurseryman and left Uley sometime before on in 1827 for the Manchester area. I have managed to trace most of his children but know nothing much about John or his parents or siblings. If anyone has any connection to this man I would be very happy to hear from you.

Does anyone know of an Annie Dangerfield, daughter of George Dangerfield and ? who was born in Uley, Gloucestershire, around 1833? She eventually married a Llanegwad man, John Simpson, who became a draper in Newport before moving back to farm at Cwm, Llanegwad.

Samuel Knight was christened Sept 1764 in Uley. His parents were Joseph and Bathsheba (nee French). I am trying to verify that this Samuel Knight later married Ann Kilmaster and were they the parents of Hannah, Joseph, Sarah, and John? Were they also the Samuel and Ann Knight who later immigrated to Launceston, Van Diemen's Land?
