Nankivell / Tripp Married December 1799
Amendments to earlier notice! It is now known that the facts given in 2007 were, in fact, family legends. Mary Nankivell was born in St. Agnes, Cornwall, her father was Benjamin Nankivell a local landowner. She married John Tripp who was a solicitor living in Congresbury, Somerset. Why was Mary married in Shirehampton and can anyone tell me the name of the then parish church as I want to track down the registers ? Any help at all much appreciated.
Thomas Nankivell

red mail Whitehead Family late 1800's onwards
Hello, we're looking for the Whitehead family who lived in Shirehampton during the late 1800's. George Whitehead who married Agnes Pritty in 1883 was born in 1855 in Marton, Warwickshire. We know that he was a trade union delegate who moved to Bristol. He was possibly a builder?
