Grover in Abercynon
Does anyone out there know anything about a house called Ty y Coed? It belonged to Colonel Grover who was away in the 2nd world war. The house was large and had a fine chestnut walk that reached to the Inysybl Rd. The house is now demolished and a housing estate built on the land. A family called Theophilis were caretakers in the early 1940's.I should be glad to hear if anyone has heard of it or it's history. I lived there in the war and my brother was born there.
