red mail Captain & Madam Osborne
I am trying to find information regarding Captain H. M. Delano OSBORNE (born 1882) and his wife Caroline Roseta (nee Parry) He died in 1959 and is buried in Greenfield Cemetaary Holywell, she died in 1970. They had a little shop in Greenfield Rd, Holywell and lived in the attached bungalow 'Heathfield' which I think has now been demolished. I know some of their background, but Mrs. Delano-Osborne, who was always known as MADAM Osborne is a bit of a mystery. She was a spiritualist and medium, which I think is where she acquired the title 'Madam'. She was born Caroline Roseta PARRY in 1881, at Lenmars Hill, Flintshire. My family are from Northop, and no one has heard of Lenmars Hill, and I can't find records of parents etc. Any information on any of the above would be appreciated. Thanks, Frank.

In 1855 an Ann Thomas, age 19, spinster, father Thomas Thomas a Joiner by trade married a Samuel Jackson a Paper Maker age 22 his father William Jackson a Maker Up. Samuel was born Cheshire, could be Stockport. I cannot find them on the 1861 despite exhaustive searching but have found Ann Jackson (census states born Holywell, Wales)on the 1871 at 8 Luton Street, Kirkdale, Liverpool with two children, Elizabeth Jackson age 5 born Manchester and Samuel Jackson age 6 born Liverpool. Census says she was a Fireman's wife. Another son John was born 1872 in Manchester and his birth certificate says Mother Ann Jackson (nee Thomas). Any help in identifying the parents of Ann Thomas or finding her on the 1861 census (hopefully with Samuel) would be wonderful ! She had died before the 1881 census and Samuel had remarried.
