red mail Robert Brodie + Pathhead, Dysart
I have extensively researched the Brodies from Dysart. Robert Brodie was my 3 x great grandfather, a Mariner and Weaver who published a history of Pathhead called 'Historical Sketches of Pathhead and Vicinity'. He was born c 1796 and married Margaret Thompson. They had 10 children, 5 of which sadly, were stillborn. Their son Laurence was my 2 x great grandfather who married Elizabeth Moore. They lived in Maryport. If anyone has any connection, please feel free to contact me.

red mail Wallace and Hamilton
Isabella Wallace was my great grandmother, and born around 1860-70. Her father was William Wallace; her mother's name is unknown to us, as are any siblings she may have had. She married Alexander Hamilton and had two son's Alexander and William (my grandfather). She died in childbirth with the third infant, named Thomas. It is unknown when exactly they emmigrated to Canada. They were a part of the 1911 Census in New Brunswick. We know very little about the Wallace's of Dysart, except that the Wallace's were well established there. Information about any aspects of our families will be greatly welcomed. Thank you, Maggie
