Researching these to families William McMahon son of James McMahon Augalurcher and Mary Browne Dromboory married Kinawley parish Derrylin? Fermanagh. Thank you Married in 1846. Update McMahon and Browne Our William McMahon was born on 28 Oct 1827 possibly Maryland, or New York, USA His mother died shortly after he was born and he was sent back to Ireland to be raised by his maternal grandparents. We still have not found any records for his father James McMahon in either Fermanagh or Monaghan as of yet but he was a Farmer supposedly from Aghalurcher? Fermanagh William married Mary Browne on 23 Oct 1846 0153,Kinawley,Fermanagh,Ireland We believe they were tenants of the Earle of Erne and Mary may have worked for Lady Erne. We have confirmed Mary Browne's parents and found a sister Isabella Beatty Browne that had also emmigrated to Ontario Canada and have proven the link through death records, and obituaries. Our Mary Browne we have confirmed was baptized 19 Mar 1826 Clones, Monaghan, Ireland daughter of John Browne and Isabella McMahon. Her granddaughter whose parents Mary lived with the last 20 years of her life was said to be a cousin to William. So Hopefully we can find more info about Isabella McMahon's family in the Clones area. Mary Browne's sister Isabella married John Beatty and emmigrated to Port Hope Ontario about 1840, Isabella was born 26 Sep 1821 Clones, Monaghan, Ireland from her obituary and baptized 27 Sep 1821 Clones, Monaghan, Ireland. Mary Browne's youngest son lived in same village as Iabella Beatty Browne's last surviving son. When he died the informant was Mary's son and stated Cousin to the deceased. I have access to obits, and photos if anyone is related. Thanks for your time.

I would like to know what happened to Catharine VEITCH, baptised in Kinawley Parish on 6 August 1797, daughter of Alexander VEITCH and his 3rd wife Izabella or Isabella MOOR. How long did she live and where? Whom did she marry, if anyone?

Michael MARTIN (1823-1895) son of Philip MARTIN and Isabella of Kinawley Parish, Fermanagh. Emigrated from Maquires Bridge, Fermanagh to N.S.W., Australia 1841. Married 1853 in Melbourne, Australia to Mary BEST (1829-1882) daughter of Allan BEST and Mary of Tempo, Fermanagh. At the time of the Eureka Stockade at Ballarat, Michael MARTIN sold spades, shovels to the gold diggers at his 'Melbourne Store' tent on Specimen Hill and Eureka Road. After the 'diggers' uprising in 1856 he bought land at Smeaton, Victoria farming there until he died. Children of Michael MARTIN and Mary BEST: Philip, Mary, Michael, Margaret, Annie, James, Elizabeth and Patrick. Their daughter Mary Martin (1856-1918) married Michael MORONEY in 1877 at Creswick, Victoria, Australia.

David Ross and Ellen or Eleanor McGee had a son William Ross. William Ross had a half brother David Ross that lived at Mullnahinshago (spelling) near Derrylin, Fermanagh and I believe was a member of the Kinawley parish until Great Uncle David Died in 1998 at the age of 97? William Ross was born about 1861 and emmigrated to NYC in the 1880's. He soon afterward moved to Ontario Canada. He married Mary Addeline McMahon and raised a family in the Peterborough, Galway area of Ontario Canada until they moved in 1903 to homestead in Saskatchewan, Canada. Thank you William Ross was my great Grandfather. Update Ross and Magee 1820s and 1830s (Mar 16) Our David Ross was born 1835 Corragole, Fermanagh, Ireland son of John Ross and Jane Balfour his wife Eleanor Magee was born 1822 Mullaghinshago, Derrylin, Fermanagh, Northern Ireland daughter of Thomas Magee and Eleanor Tubman

I am seeking the familily of my grandmother Mary McDermott b.21/Mar/1880, in Drummettagh near Kinawley. Her parents were Charles McDermott (b.1847 in Ireland) and Ann Curry (b.1851 at Derrylin, Co.Fermanagh) They were married at Glassmullagh, Co.Fermanagh. The family moved first to Harrington,Cumberland, then to Scotland and finally to Middlestonemoor, Co.Durham where the men were employed as coalminers.
Looking for info on Rebecca Magrath born about 1845. She married Richard Montgomery and they moved to England in about 1880. Her father was Thomas. Any more details on the Magraths would be great

My GGGG Grandfather Rev. John Ingham, born c1708, Lisnamaine, was rector of Kinawley. I would like to know for how long. He died at Callowhill 1764. Married Mary Veitch, c1737. They had four sons and four daughters.
