Devine
Private Samuel Devine of Brookeborough (born Liverpool), served with the North Irish Horse (and Royal Irish Fusiliers and the Inniskilling Dragoons) in France where he was mortally wounded; he died in England in February 1918. If anyone has a photo of him, especially in uniform, we would love a copy. Also photos of any other person who served in NIH in WW1 would be most welcome.
Edward Trainor
Edward Trainor married Susanna Lynch on 18th July 1924. According to marriage certificate he was a bachelor aged 47, a farmer residing in Glenoo at time of marriage, and his father was John Trainor, also a farmer. Edward was born (about 1876) in Co. Monaghan. Have found a possible church baptism record showing d.o.b. as 12 Oct 1976 in Errigal Truagh, to John Treanor and Rose Anne McCarron who have another son, Francis, born 18 Oct 1866 in Glaslough. Not sure if this is 'my Edward' who died 1932, possibly in a motorbike accident. If anyone has any information about Edward or John Trainor, I would be pleased to know more.
