Researching the family of John and Elizabeth Rayment All children born and baptised Stock They are John, Joseph, William, Sarah, Robert, Thomas James and Millie born between 1800 and 1819

Looking in particular for birth details of Willaim Richard Taylor Farrow. Census information shows his birth as at Ingatestone but other evidence points to Stock (where there is a Farrow Farm). Census evidence shows confusion over his age, which could be as early as 1836, but far fom clear. He married an Elizabeth Cole but also shown on one occassion as nee Collins. His first child was born in 1879 to a Mary Collins. No trace found of marriage certificates nor of his death.

Does anybody have any information about the RICHARDSON family living in Stock House, Stock (Essex) at the beginning of the 19th century? There were at least 4 daughters - CHARLOTTE, LOUISE, FARRAR SOPHIA and HANNAH. Charlotte married Thomas White, Gent, and Louise and Farrar Sophia were the 1st and 2nd wives of Richard John James Lacy, Major-General and Director of Royal Artillery.

My Great Grandfather, James SUCKLING (Sawyer/Carpenter on Lord Petre's Estate), was born 24 June 1850 in Stock, Essex. He married Ellen WATTS who was born 8 July 1852 in Buttsbury, Essex. The first child was born in Stock- Walter David 1876 who married Emily Hope, moved to Kent and had a son Walter David 1899 and daughter Emily Eve but the others were born in West Ham: Emily Eve 1878, Agnes Eve 1879, Mary Ann Eve 1883, Rose Eve 1885, George Eve 1887, Alfred Charles Eve 1888, Charles Wiliam Eve 1891, William Eve 1891-3, possibly serving in Army in World War 1 and James Albert Eve 1900. Alfred Charles Eve born 1888 married Ada Mitchell, daughter of Eliza Mary Ann Mitchell, and had 13 children, Alfred Charles Eve 1910 d.1910, Lilian Eve married Albert Needs, Rose Eve b. 1909 married Henry Cuell, Ada Eve 1909 married Henry Boyton, Walter George Eve 1912 married Caroline (carrie) Webster, Kathleen, Emily Ellen Eve 1915, Albert 1922, Frederick 1925 and Iris Eve b. 1927. Rose Eve married Lorenzo Pink and lived in Hampshire. Charles W marriedLilian Gertrude Grace Belsham and they had several children: Charles Frederick Eve born 1912, Lilian Rose Eve born 1915, Irene Beatrice Eve born 15 Jul 1917, Ronald James Eve born 5 Jan 1920, Frederick William Eve born 1925, Albert J Eve born SepQ 1928, Eileen D Eve born 1929 and Roy D Eve born Sep 1932. The landlord at one time was Dick Wheston. Dick and his wife, Kathy had kept the Cross Keys at Roxwell for many years. They had a son, Bert, who kept the Bath House Inn at Cromer and a daughter, Pam, who kept the Leather Bottle at Blackmore.
