Looking for relatives/descendants/any info relating to Helene Maude Jean Last (formerley Hamilton). Married Ernest Last. Had three children Betty, Rex and Kenneth Last. Her residence on my fathers (Rex) birth cert reads of Botanica st Osyth. She gave birth to my father on 30.04.1928 at The Hall Great Bentley (private nursing home). She did not take my father home, but returned to her husband Ernest Last and they subsequenlty had another child called Kenneth.

I am looking for information on Mary Ann Ward born St Osyth around 1811. She Married William Barham, a mariner, on 27th Feb 1830 at All Saints Curch in Brightlingsea and they lived ona boat in Rope Walk, Brightlingsea. Children to the marriage are William c1835, Mary Ann 1837, Rosena 1839, Olderthen (Alderman) 1841 (my great great grandfather) Thomas c1844, Frederick 1846 and John 1848. I would appreciate any info on Mary Ann Ward's parents and any possible siblings as this has become a big brick wall for me. I thought once i managed to get their marriage certificate i would find the names of the bride and grooms fathers on it but no such luck, there was no family names on there.

For some reason my St.Osyth family refered to the village as Toosey (not sure of the spelling),does anyone know why?
I have John Simpson born in Capel St. Mary Suffolk, 1867 married to Jessie Page who was born in Coddenham, Suffolk, 1874. In 1914 they are living at Daltes Farm, St. Osyth and in 1938 are living at The Rook, Clacton Road, St. Osyth. Would welcome contact with any descendants. Heather
