I am interested in John Harris who was born in Springfield in abt 1792. He was a gardener up to 1826 but then became a victualler and Inn keeper two years later. He then moved to Rainham in Kent. Can anyone help in locating John's birth/baptism, his pub or source of funds or any other details about him, please.

Research seems to suggest that my g.g.grandfather was Frederick Beadle, a butcher, born c. 1834 in Springfield and that his parents were John Beadle and Diana Lambirth, both from Heybridge, Essex. Frederick married Eliza (born c.1835) and had a son Frederick born c. 1857 at Hoxton/Horton, London, Middx. He married Frances E. Winter and had my paternal grandmother Laura Augusta Beadle. Has anyone any confirming details on Frederick Beadle, butcher, and his parents?

Frederic (1836-1906) (that is the correct spelling) was a farmer at Barnes Farm, Springfield, Essex. By 1881 his farm increased to 600 acres, employing 38 men and 4 boys. His wife was Margaret, possibly Wood or Mitson. She was born 1837 at Chelmsford, Essex and died there 1925. I would like information on this family, especially Margaret. Frederic had a brother John who married Harriet Wood.
