Her mother was Emma (nee Bush) and father was Thomas who lived on Mill Road in Ridgewell, and were farmers. Laura'ssiblings were Mary, Ernest, Gordon, Agnes, Beatrice, Kate and Ronald Harrington. Kate married a Choat and their children are Reginald, Edie, Milly and Greta, and their families may still live in the area.
