When Jesse OVERALL married Sarah SCALES on 12th March 1827 in St Peter's and All Saints, one of the witnesses was Daniel CHIPPERFIELD, who was possibly a relative, as a Mary OVERALL (Robert's sister??) had married a Daniel CHIPPERFIELD at St Peter's & All Saints 8th Oct. 1799 Jesse & Sarah OVERALL had Joseph bapt. 20th Jan 1828 (buried aged 10 weeks on 2nd March). George was bapt. 29th Aug. 1830, Isaac bapt. 26th Aug. 1833 (buried 9th Feb. 1834) Mary, their only known daughter, was the last to be born in Maldon before the family moved away.
