The college had 40 boy boarders, 100 day boys 4 masters, 5 servants, 2 gardeners and 2 boot boys. Also quote ' every kind of fruit and vegetable was grown in the extensive gardens. With the exception of an inn (where the Blackbirds is now situated) there were practically no buildings between the house and the Bakers Arms. On the other side it was country practically to Stratford'unquote. Does this mean anything to you any information would be greatly appreciated.
