red mail Nunn - Agassiz
I am a great-great-great-great granddaughter from this union and as I was born and live in New Zealand, am finding it hard to tie up villages in England with my ancestors - any information would be really appreciated! Also if anyone has Faulder or Mayson family (who would have emigrated to New Zealand in the 1800S) I would appreciate that too.
red mail Gabriel Bones
I'm searching for any information about the Bones family (possibly John was the father of the above) c 1818
red mail William Howard
Am seeking info on my gg grandfather, William Howard, born Lawford Essex about 1829. Later moved to Guildford, Surrey.
red mail John Gosnall - A Carpenter
I am looking for information about John Gosnall my Great Great Grandfather born around 1780 Essex Suffolk Borders. His son's marriage certificate states he was a carpenter by trade and he is not shown to be deceased in 1843. His son William gave in 1851,1861,1871, and 1881 census returns his birthplace as Colchester.
Am searching for a Robert Hugegoe born c. 1695 in Lawford or nearby. Married Anne Gerrard in Lawford in 1720. Had eight children I know of, John, Robert, Mary, Thomas,Jeremiah, James, Sarah and Elizabeth. Also believe he may have had two brothers, John and Thomas.
red mail Morgan
Morgan, William Henry - Miller, Sherbourne mill
I am researching the Spooner family of Lawford.
red mail Scott in Lambourne/Lawford, Essex
Hannah Scott was born in Lambourne in abt 1805, but her brother William was born in Lawford in abt 1808. Their mother may have been Elizabeth, whose age in 1841 was given as 50 (by that time living in Dedham with William). This family may or may not be connected with Adam H. Scott b abt 1801 Lawford and/or Joseph Scott b abt 1813 Lawford. Any information which might help me trace Hannah and William's ancestry would be greatly appreciated.
Agassiz Nunn
I am a great great great great grandson of Lewis Agassiz and Sarah Eliza Nunn. I don't know the maiden name of the elder Sarah, or indeed anything much on the Nunns of Lawford House. If anyone knows anything about the Nunns I would love to hear about them.... alex
