Hi, I'm looking for my great great granddad, he as far as I'm aware comes from latchingdon, born 1841. his name William Hazell.

My great,great grandfather William Jennings was born around 1839 in we think the Latchingdon area. He was later married to Susanna Boreham and they had at least one son, Isaac (my great grandfather) who was born in 1859. Isaac married Emma Carter in 1881 and they had many children. The eldest was Arthur (my grandfather). The other children were as far as we know:- Frank,Bert,Sidney,Harry,Dick,William,Ivy,Ida,Nell,Lil,Elsie. Isaac and Emma lived in Little Kings Burnham on Crouch. I would like any further information on this family.

family trail ends at Latchingdon with the death of William Rush in 1790. His son William married an Elizabeth Smith and they had many children. They lived in Tyle Hall. Any help with William sen. appreciated. I can not find where he died.
Humphreys/Humphries, Hart
John Humphreys (b c 1770) married Sarah Hart at Althorne on 27 January 1801. They had children James, Dorcas, Jane, John, Mary Ann, William, John and Henry (b 1815?). Lived Latchingdon/ Snoreham 1802-1823. Sarah died 14 Dec 1823, Snoreham aged 40. John snr living Steeple in 1851, age 77. Henry transported to Australia for pig stealing 1835. Any further information about Humphreys/Hart families in Essex very much appreciated

looking for any information on the Clear family in Latchingdon. George Clear was landlord of the Huntsman & Hounds in the 1901 census, he was also village butcher
Hazell Family
I am looking for Hazell Family members in the area. My Grandfathers name was William Hazell and he lived in the area sporadically, doing different farm labouring jobs. He was a devout member of the Peculiar Peoples church in Essex. I believe he hada brother Tom in the area who was a postman and who served in the First World War. My Great Grandfather also William moved into that area to live and married a lady whos last name was Glasscock, in the latter quarter of the 1800s I cannot find reference to their marriage or her family anywhere. William 1 above originally came from Foexearth on the Essex border area. Anyone have any further info?
