red mail FREEBORN
I would be interested to know what happened to Harriet Jane FREEBORN b. 1852, most likely in Kelvedon. Daughter of William & Amelia (nee CORNWELL). She appears in the 1871 Census, but no trace thereafter.
Thomas Rumble, maltster
I found an entry on the internet for the will of Thomas Rumble, maltster of Kelvedon with bequests made to his son, Charles, and daughters Elizabeth, Lucy, Maria, Julia and Ann. It also mentions another son, Thomas, and a married daughter, Mary Stacey, who predeceased Thomas. The will is dated 19th May 1836. Does anyone know anything about this family and if they are related to my Rumble family in Loughton/Buckhurst Hill/Chingford?

Susannah E. born Kelvedon c.1679; Thomas born c.1672, children of Thomas and Susannah (nee Pullin). Are they related to "Saye" Estaugh, born c.1618 and buried at Dunmow in 1688?

red mail BICKMORE / COULTER
1871 census 'Tendring Union Workhouse' shows my GGG grandfather James BICKMORE living at Kelvedon, or does it mean born at at Kelvedon? He was 69 & a widower. He married Mary Boyden COULTER in June 1842, Tendring, Essex. He died in 1874. As far as we know they had only two children, Elizabeth R (b-1847-1848) & Isaac James(b-Harwich Oct. 1844). The census showed Elizabeth was at St. Nicholas, Harwich. Can anyone help or add to my info?
