red mail BURTON and INGULL in Hornchurch, Essex
Thomas BURTON was a cooper (barrel maker) from Ongar, Essex born about 1699. On 6 Nov 1723, at St Benet Paul's Wharf church in London, at age 24, Thomas BURTON married Alice INGULL, age 23, who came from Hornchurch, Essex. Alice was born about 1700,and I am trying to determine her parents, her exact birth or baptism date and her siblings. Although the marriage licence spells her surname as INGULL, it could otherwise be spelled INGLE, INGOL, INGOLD, or ENGLE. It seems that Thomas and Alice settled in Hornchurch after they married where they had a family of eleven children, five of whom lived past childhood. They were William Ingol, John, Daniel, Hannah and Samuel. Any infiormation would be most appreciated.
