I'm looking for Baptism details of Joseph Swan who was born at Radwinter/Hempsted on 17 January 1844. He married Emily Broomfield in West Holloway Middlesex on 17 April 1870. I think Joseph's parents were Joseph Swan & Lettice Jepps, and I'm looking for details on them too-Joseph probably married Lettice in 1843 in the Saffron Waldon Registration District, where Lettice Jepps is shown as Lettice Gypp. I have quite a bit of informatuion on the Swan family, and are happy to share

red mail William Myhill
William Myhill appears in the 1841 census living with his father also a William (a farmer) aged 4. He does not appear in the 1851 census, although he turns up in Port Elizabeth, South Africa to marry in 1864 a girl Anna Maria Shaw (born in Salford, Lancs). How and when did they get to South Africa? Was William working by the time he was 14. He worked for Dunn Mackie & Co in PE and returned to UK in 1907 and was living in Saffron Walden at the time of his death in 1909. Any information would be appreciated.
red mail Mortlock/Housden
My great x2 grandmother Mary Mortlock from Hempstead married a William Housden from Saffron Walden or a nearby village. I am having great difficulty linking him to one out of 3 possible families. There would appear to be a connection to Ware as 1 of 4 of their children were born there and the relevant census shows him as a maltmaker. Non- conformists records show my great grandmother Mahala as baptised in Stansted Mountfitchet (with a possible transcription error as Martha) but so far she remains elusive in the 1841 census. DOB would be December 1834. Any clues would be much appreciated
