Local Knowledge Help Please
Can anyone with local knowledge of the village please help identify an undecipherable entry in the 1871 census re William Coe (b. 1837 in Finchingfield) and family. The census was taken from Howe Street towards Robinhoods End and includes Mill Lane. The Coe family is at the bottom of page 9 of 20, entry 49(Ancestry uk website), and continued on the next page. They are recorded as living on Mill Lane between Yeldhams Farm and Mill House but the house/farm name is a mystery to me. I have looked on old (1876) and modern maps but can find nothing that resembles what the enumerator has written, Can anyone help please? (I'm sorry - cannot find the proper census folio number but inputting the info above should find the entry.)
