Looking for any information on John Laver born c1777 Castle Hedingham he married Sarah (maiden name unknown). As far as I know they had 6 children, Charlotte 1809, Harriet 1811, Sarah 1813, Robert 1815, Anne 1818 and ELizabeth 1824. Also looking for Wilkins or Wilkin in Great Yeldham. Mary Anne Smith married James Thurston on 2nd Feb 1830 at St Nicholas, Castle Hedingham. Mary was born 15 May 1808 Sible Hedingham, and I have James as born Bow 1808 (this is very possibly not the correct info for James...he seems to have been a bit of a sneaky lad!) I am looking for ANY information anyone may have on our James, however remote. It seems that he joined the Essex Constabulary in 1840, and was also a Bootmaker, Currier, Inn keeper...lots of prefessions! PLEASE...does anyone know anything more of this man?
