I am also interested in any information about Cock Yard and Swan Yard which were local to my property but no longer exist. There were cottages here until the mid 19th century and I like to know more about these.

red mail Boyton, Sarah
Has anyone knowledge of Sarah Boyton who according to the IGI is the daughter of Robert & Sarah Boyton and was baptised 5 Nov 1710 at Bocking. I'm looking for Sarah Doyten/Boyton who married William Thompson at Panfield by banns 26 August 1731. I found the marriage whilst I was in the UK recently but didn't have time to follow it up. I interpreted the surname in the marriage entry as Doyten but it was badly written, I suspect the correct spelling would be Boyten/Boyton/Boyiten etc. Thank you.
red mail Burrell
Searching for information on Charles Burrell, wine merchant of Bocking Essex.
Births/marriages
Looking for father of Isaac Ottley. Isaac was born c 1798 in Essex. Isaac was married to Martha Butcher in 1824 at Wethersfield. The church record entry shows Isaac's father also as 'Isaac Ottley.' I have Land Tax records for 1797 and 98 for Wethersfield; the money was paid to Davey & Rawlings by Isaac. Therefore he lived in the area. Another clue is a Baptism in Gosfield for Isaac Ottley aged 28 in 1782. He was then born in 1747, to Jeremiah and Mary Ottley. This date does tie up to his Burial record in Wethersfield to been 86 at death in 1833. However without any marriage record for him etc I am not able to knit it all together. Any help greatly appreciated.
