I am told that my ancestor Joseph Lambton, a pitman, was born in Washington c1778. I believe that he died c1805. What I know for certain is that he married Ann Walton 6 March 1803 at All Saints Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland. I should very much like to know anything more about him and especially his birth or baptism dates and the names of his parents.

Olive was my nana, she died 25 Sep 72. She was married to Henry (Harry) Lee. Olive's father (my gt g.father) was William her mother Isabell (nee Errington); her brothers William, Lewis & Richard (known as Dick) Her father had a brother called George and sisters Sarah J, Elizabeth, Mary Ann (known as Polly)& Hannah. Mary Ann married Ben Pickering and Hannah married William (Bill) Schofield. Looking for anyone who may have connections +/or info. Thank you.

My grandfather Henry Lee (occupation Miner) married Olive Draper Feb 1928 and lived at High Usworth, Washington. They had 3 daughters: Joan (dec'd), Hannah Belle (living) and Judith (Judy) (dec'd).Other family relations on Henry's side: Joseph, Edward (brothers). I believe there are some connections with Wales, my great grandfather apparently left Wales for the North East and changed his name to Lee - a mystery I would like to solve. If anyone can offer any info, much appreciated.

Seeking a birth date and parental info on Frances Oughton. Born Co.Durham. Could be Burnmoor, Chester-le-Street, Houghton or Washington. She married one Thomas Cox, (probably in Chester-le-Street) from Ramsgate, Kent in 1st qtr of 1840. Had 3 children in England, then emmigrated to Ontario then Greenleaf in Kansas, USA. Where she had another couple of children. Any help greatly appreciated.

Trying to find more information about my Great gandma Florence May Telford c1896 lived at pattinson Town with uncle and aunt Thomas and Elizabeth Watts from norfolk on the 1901 and 1911 census. she married George Edward Binnigton 1913 at Washington parish Church. I know she already had a son called Stanley Watts telford in 1911. My great aunt referred to Elizabeth as Grannie Watts. Unfortunately i have no idea who Florence's mother was or why she didn't live with her parents A possible father is Thomas Telford taken from a marriage certificate. Any help is appreciated.

He married Isabelle/Isabella in 1918 in Sunderland and went on to have 6 children - Nora (1928), George (1934), Robert or Bobby (1932), Lillian, Peggy & Mary...dates unknown. Researching the above family's in the Washington area. The Halls lived in Harold Street, Washington Station early 20th century. Employed at Cooks Foundry. Tommy Goodfellow was foreoverman at Washington Colliery during 1920's. Lived at Havannah Terrace. Any recent info on these families appreciated.Goodfellow, Chadwick, Hall, Stimpson
