red mail Stephenson Family
My GGG Grandfather was George Stephenson who was born in 1825 in Co Armagh in Ireland. He was married to Catherine McMullen (born 1833 in Co Armagh) they moved to Gateshead in the late 1850's. George died in Wesley Place, Pelton Fell in 1899 and Catherine in 1911. I have traced numerous members of my family tree but they must still be more to find.
red mail McDONALD
Looking for descendents of Alexander and Ann McDonald (nee Pattison) who were living in Pelton area by 1901 until Alexander's death in 1943?. Children included Alex, Archie, Kate,Euphemia, Bella,Tommy, all remained in the North East area.
red mail Christer/Leggett
I am searching my family history for details of my father/grandfathers on both sides of the family. I believe my father - George Nicholas Christer was born in Stanley, and my maternal grandfather was Arthur Leggett (married Edith Chrissop I think) who was a manager at Stella Gill Coke Works. Any information on either side would be appreciated. Allan
red mail Colledge
Seeking descendants of Mary Ann Colledge who ran a shop in Pelton Fell in the 1920s/30s. She had two sons and one daughter (Lilian). I am researching the Gardner family - Mary Ann was the eldest daughter in that family.
red mail Fredrick Turk/Suzannah Johnson
My great grandparents, Fredrick Turk and Suzannah Johnson immigrated to America around 1915. All we know is they were either from Pelton Fell or Chester le Street. Does anyone have any information on these individuals? Thank you.
red mail Oliver, Tinkler, Spurrier, Michael's Villas
