red mail stafford/hunter
Our family bible entries end at a Ralph Hunter and Hannah Stafford from Houghton-le-spring, both born between 1700 and 1725. They were married in the parish in 1744. A Robert Stafford is involved in the story somewhere, some say he was hannah's brother, some say he was married to her first (Hannah Davy 1737 marriage has been found) then died and she remarried Ralph Hunter in her married name not her maiden name. Not sure which is correct. Any info on either would be helpful, I do have details of their four children for comparison. Thanks
